Procedural Animation of Human Walk
Mohelník, Petr ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
Animation of human walk is employed in many interactive applications, mostly in computer games. There are many ways to create such animation which differ in compromise among naturalness, control over animation and computing time. This work implements procedural animation which is applicable for walking on uneven terrain. Skeletal animation is used for manipulation with model of human body. Furthermore, inverse kinematics is described and implemented. That allows for adaptation to uneven terrain. It also describes phases of human walk, so we can accurately aproximate them. Proposed solution enables specification of walk using number of parameters and is able to adapt to surrounding terrain. The result should be usable in creation of computer games and should allow for creation of specific animation of human walk without need to create such animation manually.
Mechanical design of stend for lower limbs prostheses dynamic testing
Taufer, Tomáš ; Robenek, Dětřich (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This work describes design and realization of testing device for dynamic tests of foot prosthesis, made by methods of Rapid prototyping. Primary objective of design is to imitate the load on prosthesis during human gait. This task is accomplished by swing motion of prosthesis inside the frame of device during the loading of heel and tiptoe. Loading components can be removed and changed so the device can be used for different measurement like walking on an inclined plane. The result of this work is fully functional device including control program with many options to control the test. The result of test is to decide whether the foot prosthesis withstands the set of cyclic loads. The area of development of prosthesis by additive methods is young for the time being. It stands out especially with different materials, design, structure of prosthesis and fast process of production. Therefore this device can be used for testing of fatigue life of prosthesis made by additive methods.
Comparison of the coordination characteristics of the step of walking on the run trainer and on the natural ground
Dančová, Štěpánka ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Pavelka, Radim (referee)
Title: Walking step coordination characteristic comparison for walking on running simulator and off-road walking. Objectives: Goal of the thesis is to measure, analyze and evaluate data of activity and involvement of lower limb muscles for offroad walking and walking on running simulator. The measured characteristic will be intra-individually and extra-individually compared. Method: Surface polyelectromyography method for data measurement and kineziological movement analysis method for values comparison are used in the thesis. Ten muscles of lower limb (2  5 muscles on left and right lower limb) were chosen. Results: Ten lower limb muscles were chosen and their activity for walking on running simulator and offroad walking was measured by surface polyelectromyography method on ten sportsmen. The results indicate that chosen muscles participate on monitored movement. The analysis shows that the muscles activity follows the same order for each of tested sportsmen independently on the external condition (running simulator and offroad walking). The thesis that correlation of measured values is higher for running simulator have been confirmed. But m.gluteus.med. and m.glut.max. have variation in the activity of the involvement in the field and on the treadmill. Similar results have also m.vastus med....
